Terms of Hire – Bake Cart & Products
A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your Bake Cart booking.
The outstanding balance is due 4 weeks prior to your event.
We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer and PayPal.
Please note that no changes to Bake Cart items can be made less than 4 weeks prior to the event.
If the balance is not paid by the due by date, it will be presumed that the booking is cancelled and it will be within the company’s rights to rebook the Bake Cart for another event.
We offer free delivery and pick up of our Bake Cart to venues within a 20 mile radius of our Studio. For deliveries outside of our 20 mile radius further charges may be incurred.
A £50 damage deposit is required, payable when the final balance is due. This will be refunded within 1 week after the event subject to there being no damage or loss to Cakephoria.
If a cancellation occurs after final balance has been paid, which would be less than 4 weeks prior to event, no monies will be refunded to the client; other than the £50 damage deposit.
In the very unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by Cakephoria any payment received will be fully refunded.
Nut Allergies & Safety Warnings
Please note that some of our products may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils; or may have been made alongside other products containing nuts. Unless specified all products contain either gluten, eggs or dairy. It is advised that anyone with food intolerances or food allergies should be warned by the client prior to consuming items from the Bake Cart. Cakephoria cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies.
Clients should also ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid products/wrapping being chosen which would pose a choking risk. This is even more important for children aged under 5yrs. Similar care should also be taken to ensure children’s safety relating to plastic packaging to avoid any risk of suffocation. Cakephoria CANNOT be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of equipment, consumables or the consumption of items left at the celebration location.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that under no circumstances the cart is to be moved during the celebration by anybody other than Cakephoria’s staff. Precautions must be taken as fragile items such as glassware are used for display.
The Bake Cart is not a toy and it is the parent/guardians’ responsibility to ensure that children do not play under or around the Bake Cart, as there are steel fixings on the underside of the Bake Cart which could pose a hazard.
The client agrees to allow photographs taken by Cakephoria to be used for promotional purposes.
